FRUIT PICKING (Mandarins) – June and July 2022

Harveston Park is a small citrus farm situated on Weir Road at Harvey. The owners, Richard and Terri Knight are looking for some enterprising young people to pick their Imperial mandarins this season.

There is work opportunities for approximately 6 – 8 weeks and the hours are flexible although weekend work is the priority. The mandarin trees are small – no ladders required – there’s an abundance of fruit and the fruit is mostly picked on dry days. Harveston Park is a holistic farm that is chemical free.

The pay rate is paid in line with the Pieceworkers Horticulture Award with incentives offered for extra hours worked.  The start date is estimated to be the first week of June 2022.

We are seeking a farmhand worker for a small family-owned beef cattle business situated in Ravenswood.

This position requires you to work directly with our farm manager and owner.  Activities will include: 

  • Tractor driving

  • Livestock handling, shifting stock on rotational grazing, cattle yard work

  • General farm repairs (welding, fencing, etc) and machinery maintenance

  • Occasional weekend work


The successful applicant must show initiative, be able to work both independently and as team.
