Another successful year at the  2019 Farm Skills and the Perth Royal Show.

Recently on the farm we have had a lot to celebrate at both Farm Skills and the Perth Royal Show. We sent up three teams for Farm Skills and they excelled this year.  For the first time the College came first, second and third in the fencing competition. I would like to congratulate all the students, staff and our prized livestock involved in our successes.

During the holidays the College competed at the Perth Royal Show with Mr Adams showing the Colleges merino stud ewes and wool. Mr Adams needs to be congratulated as the College won two firsts and one third prize for wool, a first prize and two third prizes for our ewes. In addition to these awards,  the College also won Reserve Champion Poll Merino Ewe which was a fantastic result for the College and Mr Adams.

During the second half of the show, students from the Cattle Club were involved in showing the College's Holstein dairy cattle in various classes. We enjoyed success in winning three classes and obtaining a first, second and fourth in the all Australian Calf Class. Lydia Angi, Alison Marsiske and Indiana Smith placed first, second and third,  respectively in the Senior Paraders' Competition.
