A trial Year 10 program commenced in 2005 for approximately 16   Year 10 compulsory school age students. This proved to be successful and continued on in the following year.

The WA College of Agriculture - Harvey offers a Year 10 program for boys and girls interested in an education centred on Agriculture and related trades.  Many students working to enrol in Year 11 and 12 at Harvey elect to commence their studies in Year 10.

The Year 10 program covers the same type of courses as the Year 11/12 program and provides an excellent preparation for their senior secondary studies.

Year 10 students spend three days each week undertaking English, Maths, Outdoor Education, Careers, Information Technology, Animals, Plants and Geography.  The other two days of the week are spent in the Design & Technology workshops (undertaking Metals, Automotive, Wood and Building) and Farm.  During these practical days, students work through national recognised vocational qualifications.
