Classroom

Study at the College is based on semesters for students in Year 10, 11 and 12. This course offers study in six learning areas plus farm and trades. Most learning areas are on offer with an emphasis on farm and trades in the technology and enterprise area.

Students in Year 11 and 12 study a range of subjects in the classrooms which are mostly state based Curriculum Council subjects. Depending on the stream of study chosen by the students, different times will be spent in class during the week.

Agriculture Stream students spend two and a half days each week in class.
Trades Stream students spend one and a half days each week in class.

Year 10 students spend three days each week in class studying and learning areas from the Curriculum Framework, 1 day per week on farm and 1 day in Design & Technology.

In the class area students make use of three air-conditioned classrooms, library facility and modern computer network with Internet capability. Staff also make use of farm facilities and off site visits to complement class room learning.
