Wow, the term is nearly over...how fast the time goes.
This term has been a busy one - Year 12 students have been finishing off their assigned work as their secondary education is coming to an end. Year 11 students completed a weeks work experience getting a taste of what career direction they would like to take when they leave the college. Year 10 students spent a week visiting different Agricultural industries around the South West looking at career options.
COLLEGE BALL
On the 21st of August the college helds it annual school Ball at the Old Coast Brewery, the theme being Casino Royale. All the students looked fantastic in their dresses and suits. Staff and students enjoyed themselves, with a lovely meal and great entertainment. Photos can be viewed and purchased from the maverickphoto.com.au website. DOWERIN FIELD DAY
During week 7 - Year 10 students along with the Year 12 Fencing team and Gemma Hutton attended the Dowerin Field Day. The fencing team participated in a number of events on the day. Whilst the Year 10 students had the opportunity to look around the field day and gather any relevant information. Gemma Hutton competed in the Elders Auctioneering competition, doing extremely well which resulted in her coming second in the event.
COLLEGE DINNER
This years college dinner is organised for this Friday the 11th September. The night gives the opportunity for the college to thank everyone who is involved with the college throughout the year. The night gives the Year 12 students are also given the chance to mingle and have a meal with the staff and guests.
