In February 1991 the Ex-Students' Association was formed to keep the friendship and contact with old mates alive and also to provide financial and/or moral support to the current students, the College or in certain cases, even ex-students.

In 2006 the Ex Student Association was re-invigorated and a successful dinner was held with many old boys attending and reminiscing.  At this stage the Association was expanded to include staff and the Association was renamed "Friends of the Harvey Ag College".

The main aim of the "Friends of the College" is to keep record of names and addresses of past students and to assist in facilitating re-unions of the different years.

Every year a meeting of the "Friends and the Harvey Ag College" is held on Open Day to catch up and plan events for the year.

Each year the "Friends of the College" joins with the College to provide a $500 Scholarship for a Year 11 student entering into Year 12.
